Baltimore, MD -- November 18 -- ASGvis announced today that V-Ray for SketchUp is compatible with Google's new release of SketchUp 7. Current users of V-Ray will have to uninstall V-Ray for SketchUp 6 first, then reinstall V-Ray and set the path to the folder for SketchUp 7 instead of SketchUp 6. At the moment, it is not possible for V-Ray to be installed for both SketchUp 6 and SketchUp 7, so if you need to use V-Ray in Sketch Up 6 it is not advised to go through the reinstallation process described above. "We are pleased that V-Ray works with SketchUp 7 without any modifications, " said Damien Alomar, Product Manager for ASGvis. "In the coming weeks, we will be looking to release a fully integrated build of our product that will allow V-Ray to run with both versions of Sketchup.  As we continue with developing our next full version we will investigate SketchUp 7 for new opportunities that will improve the V-Ray for SketchUp experience.
