V-Ray for SketchUp System Requirements

Hardware:

  • Pentium, Celeron, or higher processor. Mac version is Intel only.
  • 200 MB disk space.
  • 512 MB RAM minimum. 2-3 GB or more recommended.

Operating systems:

  • V-Ray for SketchUp runs only on:
    • Windows 2000 including server
    • Windows XP Pro
    • Windows XP Home
    • Windows Vista*
    • Windows 7*
    • OS 10.4.11 or higher*
  • V-Ray for SketchUp will not run on:
    • SketchUp 5 or lower*
    • Windows NT
    • Windows 95
    • Windows 98
    • Windows ME
    • OS 9 or lower
  • V-Ray for SketchUp does run as a 32-bit application on 64bit machines and OS's.
  • Virtualization systems such as VMWare and Parallels are not recommended.
  • The use of imaged machines is not recommended due to the fact that the licensing is hardware dependent.

* SketchUp 6 on OS X is not supported.
